Galaxy Trucker is a real-time game in which the players build and control a spaceship. Along the way, they must dodge meteors, fight enemies and collect rewards.

First, the players search the common stocks in the warehouse. There they choose the most useful part tiles to build their ship.

Once the ships are launched, players find themselves in perilous situations as they compete for valuable cargo.

The goal is to survive the journey and have at least one credit at the end of the game. Credits can be earned by delivering goods, defeating pirates, having the most beautiful ship and reaching the destination earlier than the others.
