In the game Oath, the players determine the history of an ancient land. Each game session affects the resources, actions, and victory condition of the game session that follows. For example, when a player takes power through anarchy, future players will have to deal with a country overrun by thieves and warlords.

Despite the fact that the game Oath is a legacy game, you don't have to play with the same group of players or with the same line-up every time. A player can play solo mode during the week and continue the same game over the weekend with a group of friends.
