Tzaar is an abstract game for two players, created by Kris Burm. Tzaar is the second game (of the seven) in the Gipf series.
In the thinking game Tzaar, each player has a total of 30 pieces of 3 different types. The 3 species cannot exist without each other. A player wins if he makes sure that the other player no longer has 1 suit or that the other player cannot capture any more pieces. Each time, the players have to choose whether they will weaken the other player or strengthen themselves.
The Tzaar game manual also includes a tournament variant for the real tacticians.
